I took my 20 year old cat in to your clinic on 10/24/11 and I can honestly say, I have never received the treatment that your staff gave me that dreadful night-you put me in a room on a sofa so that Katy and I could say our goodbyes-you wrapped her in a beautiful blanket so I did not see the IV and she went peacefully to sleep in my arms with the vet sitting beside me with compassion I have never seen in a Dr before-You turned a horrible night into a night that I can remember with peace of mind that she did not suffer and she was treated like a princess-thank you again-I will never forget your kindness

We wanted to thank all of the caring staff at the facility. Our beautiful Sophie (8 year old Maltese) was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor a month ago. Dr. Rushing had done what he could to make her comfortable but we knew that we didn't have long left with her. When the time came, the people at the Emergency Center couldn't have been more caring and compassionate. I am sorry to say that I can't even remember the vet's name who helped our little Sophie, but she too put us at ease. In the end, our Baby Girl just went to sleep and was no longer in pain. I thank all of you who work there. It takes a special kind of person to deal with the sadness that you must see daily.

I rushed my french bulldog to North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic after he was bitten by fire ants and went into shock. Dr. Burnside took excellent care of my dog, Bentley. The clinic was reasonably priced. I hope not to return for an ER visit, but if I need to, I know exactly where to go! Thank you so much for saving my doggie!!

Tuesday night, 7/26/2011, I brought my little pom to your clinic from Arlington. Although we were not able to save Kyo, your staff tried very hard. Your kindness and gentleness for Kyo and my family was most appreciated. He was a great little dog but nothing could be done. Thank you so much for everything.

I brought my American Bulldog here because we had no other choice and was quite skeptical at first about what to expect considering his condition. He was in severe pain and could not walk and we had no idea what was wrong and were desperate and putting him down was not an option. The first thing that struck me walking in the door was the immediate attention given to us after our beloved dog was whisked away to another room for evaluation. The liason was so kind and offered any help we needed and the rest of the staff seemed genuinely concerned as well. Dr. Ducate told us the news and as deveastating as it was to hear she gave us hope in the most sincere and kind way possible. He had a herniated disc and required surgery. we did not hesitate because you see Major isnt just a dog he is the reason my husband made it through his recovery after being severely injured in Iraq and the man and dog share a special bond that was not ready to be broken. I must say it will take all we have to pay for the surgery and we may lose some things but it is worth it to us, we would rather be without than to lose our Major. Thank You to all the staff for doing your jobs not only well but with a real compassion.

What a great experience... When I realized my precious TeddyBear (special needs cat) was in trouble on Sunday, I went into a panic. I did not particularly like the emergency vet clinic in my area, and my regular vet was closed. But, I took him - turns out it was an emergency but the vet did not make me feel comfortable and I left. I remembered hearing about North Tex Emerg clinic, so made the drive. What an amazing difference! Not only did they listen to my concerns regarding the special needs, but they actually cared. It worked out great, Teddy's now doing fine, and I'm so grateful that I have them now as a permanent after hrs resource. Thank you!

Back in 2008, I called the Emergency # late at night for poison info. Whoever helped me was wonderful! My kitty cat was just fine, but I wasn't sure and they were very reassuring. I appreciated that very much!

Several months ago I came into the clinic with a RAT emergency. Dr. Stacie Fowler was able to treat my rat, Lucy. She was so incredibly professional, kind, knowledgeable, prompt, and compassionate that I wish I could bring my animals to her on a regular basis. I did ultimately have to have Lucy euthanized, but I know that the decision was backed with education and experience. I know that I did the right thing for Lucy. Now Lucy's sister is ill and I would give my right arm to be able to have Dr. Fowler treating her as a regular patient. I drive a good distance specifically to see her when my exotic animals are in crisis. I even convinced my curent vet clinic to inform their exotic clients that Dr. Fowler is THE vet to see for after-hours emergencies.

I want to thank your staff for all the kindness and professional care you've given my 2 pets over the years. They have both recently gone to dog heaven, just days apart. They had long lives, both having lived 15.5 years
Buddy, my cairn terrier, was euthanized about 3.5 weeks ago. He had some kidney issues, among other things. You had seen him more than once, but the only incident I remember is when he got into a large bag of dog food without my knowledge. An xray revealed his engorged stomach was just full of food. I thought he had some life threatening condition.
April, my white shepherd, you've seen a number of times including:
1) her ingestion of a bottle of nosespray which required you to detox her( the charcoal treatment, etc).
2) emergency surgery to turn her topsy turvey stomach back over. Many thanks to Dr Whitwell (I believe who was the surgeon) who saved her life.
3) one (or both?) of her canine geriatric vesitbular syndrome attacks.
and most recently.............
4) her euthanization, early Monday morning, Sept 13.
I was not it the best emotional condition early Monday morning, so forgive me if my recall is not
accurate as to the doctor's name, but checking the staff on your website, I believe it must have
been Dr Fowler who attended to my dog's last moments.
To her I wish to say.... Thank you and your support staff for the kind and compassionate treatment of both patient and owner. I feel April departed with the kindness, care, and dignity that she deserved. She was a wonderful pet, and I will miss her terribly. God bless you.

I just wanted to thank the staff for the kindness and care they gave to our Mandy. She passed away at home on a saturday night and with no idea what to do, I called the pet clinic and they told me to bring her in and they would help me. I have never had a staff of employees so helpful and caring. They put her in a room and let me say my good-by's and and took over from there. They even sent us a sympathy card because of our loss. They made all of the arrangements for us and we were worry free because of thier professional ways. They made it a lot easier to lose a pet of 16 1/2 years, thank-you.

I just wanted to say how great your clinic and your staff were to me and my cat-Salem. This was the hardest night of my life when she ended up passing, but your staff made it so easy and were so genuine. Every part of your clinic is there to serve the client and their animals-their family. You could tell that your staff care and go way above what is necessary to make the whole process "suck" less. I was so touched that every staff member I encountered after Salem's passing said sorry-ones that I never spoke to. I thank our veternarian and assistants that night-the concern and care they showed us made the decision easier for me. I am a therapist-"head shrink" and I appreciated how I did not have to wait at the counter after the procedure and the packet of information given to me. Thank you for all that you did for me and Salem that night. I was recommended to you by my friend and will recommend you all to anyone that would need your type of services.

I recently had to make the decision to put my dog to sleep. I ended up bringing her to your clinic. You are not my normal vet office and this was my first experience in your office and my first experience with putting an animal to sleep. Thank you to each and every person within the clinic who helped make this extremely tough decision an easy one. They treated Charlie as if they had seen her since she was a puppy. The process was difficult but everyone from the front desk to the individual who spent the last moment with Charlie showed a huge amount of care and concern. All of you are an amazing group of people. For my other animals you have become the vet of choice.

I just got home from leaving my cat at the clinic to be put to sleep. The staff gives you all the information so a pet owner can make the best humane decision. This is the second trip I have made with one of my pets that resulted in putting the pet to sleep, and I received consistently the same compassionate care. These are just good people who know the right words to say.
Blessings to you! You have a gift.

Putting our dog of 17 years down was the hardest thing to do. He was unable to do anything and was highly disoriented and it was obvious that the time had come for him. The staff was so nice and took us in as soon as we walked in. They made the last moments as easy as possible for us to go through. Thank you to the clinic for being so understanding.

I wanted to say thanks for your kind, compassionate and responsive care the morning we brought our old dog Beau (he lied to us and did not tell us how sick he really until he couldn't hide it - you know how trickly some of those wise old dogs can be). When we arrived at NTEPC they quickly responded to the immediacy of the situation, with great sensitivity and compassion.
I've been to emergency care places before in the middle of the night, and NTEPC far surpassed what I could have hoped for! Would recommend them in a heart beat!

Thank you for being open in the wee hours of the morning and understanding how hard this was for me and my family. Opie was the best dog ever and we miss him greatly.

Jaime - we had to experience your horrendous experience last night with our baby Pupcake and you are so correct the staff here was so understanding and so patient. We wanted to be in denial of needing to confront this issue, but Dr. Miller was sooooo patient with us. It will take us a while to recover from our lose, but I am thankful to Dr. Miller and her staff for their patience and understanding and helping us to see that our being selfish to want to keep her was just keeping her here suffering. I just never thought I would ever have to get here with a family pet. I keep waiting to hear her jingling collar to come get in the bed. We love you and miss your terribly Pupcake but thanks NTEPC for helping us to make the "best" decision.

The horrendous experience of putting to sleep my beloved dog of 15 years (she was 17) was improved as much as possible thanks to the loving care of everyone at North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic. I didn't want "strangers" doing this, but had no choice. The folks at NTEPC were tremendous the minute we walked in the door and simply said, "It's time." I hope nobody is ever in this situation, but I also hope everybody knows this is THE place to go for emergency care.
Regards, Jaime Aron. (RIP, Coach.)

I would like to commend the staff at North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic. Today I brought in my pet pot belly pig and the staff was so caring and compassionate in caring for the poor little guy! Stacie Fowler demonstrated an innate passion and talent for our "exotic" animal that is second to none. Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job in caring for our little pig! We appreciate it. I would highly recommend your services to anyone in a heart beat!
